Ep. 1 The Grind: Mark Baldwin

Golf’s most intense and addictive new docuseries is here: The Grind will take viewers deep into the worlds of a diverse group of pros and top amateurs chasing their golf dreams.

Episode 1 features Mark Baldwin, who has competed on five continents while pursuing professional golf’s highest level. Known for his effortless length off the tee, Baldwin held full status on the Korn Ferry Tour for three years and had multiple top-10 finishes. He has made the cut in his last three PGA Tour starts, including last year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Mark is joined by his wife, Sarah, and Ryan French, his friend and part-time caddie, for this postshow podcast with Matt Ginella. They discuss what it’s like being the stars of the show; the vulnerability of opening up their lives to a large audience; and the challenges of juggling family life with Mark’s travels and the ongoing financial stress that comes with missing cuts.

  1. So good guys. Like really really good. The major networks are really missing an opportunity on the broadcast by not making a “thing” out of the the cut line, or highlighting guys like Mark. Formula 1 makes a huge issue out of 6th place, but the PGA Tour/TV only care about the win. Can’t wait to see Pico, Feather, Will, and Simsy on future episodes 🙂
