Bobby Jones once said, “Nobody ever wins the National Open. Somebody else just loses it.” Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler lost this one, but ascendant Wyndham Clark snatched the trophy with some very gutsy play. Michael Bamberger and Alan Shipnuck were on the grounds at Los Angeles Country Club to report on a memorable Open.
